In 2011, UAB RŪTA participated in the competition “Election of national valuables by the daily Respublika”. The participants of the competition competed in six nominations: “Contemporary man“; “A man as a historical personality”; „Historical fact“; “Phenomenon that resounds Lithuania‘s praises”; “Thing and object that resounds Lithuania‘s praises“, and “The voice of RESPUBLIKA readers“. This time, UAB RŪTA put in for the nomination “Thing and object that resounds Lithuania‘s praises“.
The purpose of "Election of national valuables by the daily Respublika" is to discover, remember, and show the values we have. It is all that is most important to you and to us. We are happy that the company was acknowledged in this election; UAB RŪTA was awarded a certificate of honour of the competition “Election of national valuables by the daily Respublika”.

RŪTA product has been evaluated by gold
During the award ceremony at the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, on 16th of December, 2011, the Chairman of the Seimas, I. Degutienė, presented the confectionery factory RŪTA with the gold medal of the competition “The Lithuanian Product of the Year 2011”. The award was earned by the sweets collection "Šokolado tradicijos" (Engl. "Traditions of Chocolate"), 220 g. This award has been the thirteenth gold medal won in the competition “The Lithuanian Product of the Year”, that has come to the private limited liability company RŪTA. The company has been successfully participating in this competition since 1998.
On the 23rd of September, 2011, on the European Languages Day, an award ceremony of the election of the language ambassadors of year 2011 took place at the Institute of the Lithuanian Language. During the event organized by Education Exchanges Support Foundation, the confectionery factory RŪTA was honoured by special prizes for the activity, related to improvement of the personnel‘s language skills.
For the limited liability company RŪTA, long experience of the specialists of the company and high qualification in creation of best quality products is not the only importance. We consider it very important to maintain a constant improvement of the employees as well as strengthening the international relationships. Therefore, we are always looking for new possibilities of how to improve the employees‘foreign language skills. The main measures used: professional traineeship of the staff abroad, participation in international projects, language courses, and traineeship of foreign students.

Food safety management system under requirements of international standard ISO 22000 engrained into confectionery factory RUTA, also the certificate is received. The system is created and engrained under coordination with quality management system according to requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2008, which already works in the company.
